Has motherhood passed me by?

I am following my last blog on loneliness with a story titled “All I see are women with children”. There are many women who do not have children for a number of reasons and it is often a personal choice but for others it is an element of life that has simply never been fulfilled. This, in itself, can cause a number of emotions especially one of loneliness and misunderstanding that a child will fill so many gaps.  In discovering love and coming to terms with her alcohol addiction, this woman has learnt to accept that motherhood may never have been in her destined path, however disappointing that is.  It is a story of courage and acceptance… a virtue of so many women whether they are blessed with motherhood or not.

Please share your story, in confidence to behindeverybump@gmail.com
